Harmony Conference 2024

Sat 8 Jun 2024 - London

Action for Harmony, a collaborative platform for Hindu organizations, hosted a remarkable conference in London, aimed at addressing key concerns and solutions for the Hindu community.

The event gathered over 300 attendees from 165 organizations across the UK, representing various Mandirs, Sampradayas, and Samaj.

The conference began with a morning session featuring over ten distinguished speakers from volunteer organizations, who discussed issues such as education, community needs, and political engagement.

A significant issue highlighted was the lack of awareness about Sanatan Dharma, both within the Hindu community and the wider public. The speakers emphasized the importance of bridging this gap, believing that the values of Sanatan Dharma could contribute to greater peace and harmony for humanity and the environment.

Afternoon workshops focused on exploring potential solutions, with education on Sanatan Dharma being a central theme. An exhibition during the conference showcased the impactful work of volunteer organizations, underlining the power of volunteerism. The event also stressed the importance of supporting social organizations, both financially and through active participation, to address the underrepresentation of Hindus in public discourse.

The day concluded with networking opportunities over lunch and drinks, fostering new relationships. The conference was a success, advocating for unity, education, and active participation in shaping a harmonious future.

Key take away for HEB was that there is lot of interest from the Samaj and lot more to do, but there is tremendous amount of support as well."

has brought us together. What began as an idea from a few individuals quickly gained momentum as more like minded organizations joined in, shaping it into what we now call Harmony in Action. Today's conference is a testament to the positive outcomes of collective efforts. No doubt many of you put lots of effort and energy not forgetting finances. Well done, everyone
